I always add 3 hours to auto racing, and always add 2 hours to other sports.

On Sundays I add an extra hour to anything that is scheduled to record after a sporting event.

I have seen discussions before that have wound up with the answer always being add extra time for the event as the guide info has not been able to keep up with what is happening in live sports.

Regards!
