[mythtv-users] upgrade & restore

I have a 120Gb ssd that is split for two OS partitions. I finally decided
to upgrade to 24.04, so I backed up my database on the functional 22.04
Ubuntu and started the upgrade to 24.04 on the other (22.04) half of the
ssd. Everything seems fine, so I, according to the backup and restore
instructions, I dropped the database and restored my current backup, which
gave a report of "successful  database restore". Then when I open the
backend, I'm told the BE is deprecated, go to "
http://localhost:6544/setupwizzard"  no joy. The functional system has
Ubuntu 22.04 mythtv 32 fixes and the upgraded system has Ubuntu 24.04
mythtv 34. Maybe because the BE was running on the attempted restore? So I
shut down the BE and tried again, still no joy. Any suggestions?  TIA  Daryl
