Before you do any changes, please post the output of
$ timedatectl in the terminal.
Mine looks like this:
$ timedatectl
               Local time: Mo 2025-02-10 12:36:11 CET
           Universal time: Mo 2025-02-10 11:36:11 UTC
                 RTC time: Mo 2025-02-10 11:36:11
                Time zone: Europe/Vienna (CET, +0100)
System clock synchronized: yes
              NTP service: active
          RTC in local TZ: no
