[mythtv-users] mythbackend in a KVM VM (thread started out as "in docker container")

New result:
I tried shutting down mythbackend on the old system (the one currently 
in use that's working nicely), and ran minisatip on that. I then started 
up the new system with mythbackend running within a VM and tuned via the 
minisatip service. That set up also seems to work flawlessly. I had 3 
simultaneous programs recording and dipped in and out of live tv while 
they ran. I didn't notice any corruption in any of the recordings.

I'm not sure what to make of that, but I guess it rules out mythbackend 
struggling to write to disc. I think it also implies that the new system 
would work fine with a Homerun (if I can accept dropping Freesat as a 
source).
