Thanks, The unfortunate thing about the setup app is that you can't do any
of those parameter changes until you have the network setup. So after you
get it set up the first time you can go back and change everything.
What I've discovered this morning after getting my Pi-Hole server setup is
I could create a local dns record on the pi-hole. To make pi-hole work you
have to force all devices connected to your dhcp server on the router to
use the pi-hole as its dns server.
So I added:
kubuntu-closet.local 192.168.68.67
Now any system connected to my network that gets its IP via the router dhcp
server can get to mythtv-backend via its hostname.
So in my browser http://kubuntu-closet.local:6544 gets me to the web app.
Kodi also works. Now to test things on my Firetv like leanfront.
