One thing I have noticed is that there are fewer filters in the Upcoming Recordings page of the Web Interface - in mythweb, there is an option to filter the list on the program name. I find this to be useful to check that upcoming recordings contain all the episodes that I expect.




Thanks for the tip. I will add the filter.

I like the fact that, in Recordings and Videos, I can click on the download link, save the URL and then open the program as a Network Stream in VLC.

Another thought occurs to me - would it be possible to set up a password on the Web Interface? I don't feel happy accessing it form outside home without one - there's too much damage that could be done if someone decided to be unfriendly.



In the absence of that, I wonder if I could password protect it at my inbound apache2 proxy?
