[mythtv-users] Input Groups problem, MythTV 0.29

Hi there,

I'm having a strange problem with Input Groups in MythTV 0.29 with fixes 201909121531. I'm happy to see they exist, as I have the exact problem that is described in the documentation: cable box that I'm using via Firewire and S-Video. So I tried to create a recording group. I called it SA4250HD. When I do that, it creates an entry in the inputgroups table in the DB called "user:SA4250HD" as soon as I exit saving changes. However, if I then try to select it on one of the inputs and save changes, it deletes that entry, and when I go back in, the input is set back to group Generic. I also can't actually create an input group and actually set it in both cards. If I add a group, select it for an input, and then try to select it on the other input, it's just not there. If I exit saving changes with the input group actually set on either card, it's gone again.

The only thing that I can see that's out of the ordinary at all is that I have the scheduling priority set to 0 on the Firewire input (I don't yet have a pruned list of channels for that that aren't encrypted -- anyone have an easy way to generate one, BTW)?

Thanks for any help you can offer. Seems like a bug, or I'm completely misunderstanding how this works.
