You may fully expect this but today I got an update to:
 2:31.0+fixes.202003301427.aa63cae~ubuntu18.04.1

I got the same error as before, but I did the same thing as yesterday and
used your new mythtv-database.postinst script and it finished with no
errors when I ran:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-database.

I assume that at some time soon your fix will make it into the normal
update process.
