Since you mentioned the mythfrontend and duplication elimination method 
I thought I check what mythtv-frontend on Ubuntu shows for those video 
counts. First I know the number of files in that directory is 168.  When 
I use Mythtv-frontend -> Media Library -> Videos, all the Video count is 
right except the one that shows wrong in Leanfront, "Hogan's Heroes".  
Mythtv-frontend also shows double, 336 instead of 168. Since they are in 
a list it's easier to spot. For example the first two videos listed are 
both the first episode of the first year. The listings are:

"1x01 - The Informer"             Unknown in the description field.

"Hogan's Heroes - The Informer"     Full Description field with multiple 
lines about the program episode.

It's odd how this happened. When you play them it's the same video. I 
don't see it on The Big Bang Theory.
