I have an NVidia GeForce GT210 with 430.40 and my kde SystemSettings has
its HDMI2 output enabled;
and Built in Analog audio,
and a virtual device: simultaneous output from both.

Myth offers 5 devices, and ALSA:default is selected.

The mixer in the speaker widget allows individual control of the
components in the virtual device.

That seems to be stable. I don't know if your environment would do it.
