The wiki is open you just need a login.

I for one would love an updated set of instructions posted on the wiki as I
have tried and failed for years to compile for MacOS.  I personally do not
use ports (use homebrew) and would love to have updated compiles built and
posted on sourceforge (
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mythtvformacosx/files/) as used to happen
up until 0.28.
