The eureka moment did not last!
192.168.5.61 is my laptop and I had never used the tuners other-than-myth.
AFTER this I used VLC to view each channel (which worked)
AFTER that I recorded 4 channels (which also worked)

Clearly *something* happened, just not sure what.
We are auld farts and I absolutely guarentee my wife is blameless.
