I've noticed the audio getting off sync on mythfrontend-20181124-arm64-v30-Pre-983-gca71c59e61a.apk as well when jumping through commercials and came to the same conclusion that pausing and un-pausing gets it back into sync... I just updated my shield to the latest mythfrontend-20190216-arm64-v30.0-19-g5100ef5870e.apk remotely, will have to test that one out tonight.
