[mythtv-users] backend crash at start of recordings

I’m trying to setup test cases that might be causing my crashes. I setup 2 recordings to start at the same time. About 20 minutes prior to the start of both I went to the Program guide and selected the channel that was going to be the source of one of the recordings. So the program prior to one of my recording starting was being watched live. At the time for the start of the recordings. My Frontend exited/crashed, who knows. When I started the FE again, I looked at the recorded list and I had both programs being recorded, and also both programs with an entry that was in Blue text and 0.0GB. Since both had a time stamp for the official start of the recording I didn’t miss very much if anything.

The backend is Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 mythtv v29.1 update very recently and the FE is Nvidia Shield. mythfrontend v:master(V30-Pre-983-gca71c59e61s).

On the backend I’m using mythhdhrrecorder so the HDHR’s are shared properly with the HDHR view on the Shield. Also I’ve disabled the Live Channels app on the Shield just in case it might do something stupid. The mythhdhrrecorder version was the latest pulled 12-31-2018.

syslog has some detail, but nothing obvious to me. mythhdhrrecorder logs there and it reads like I’d expect right up until systemd restarts the mythtv-backend service.

I can provide any logs if anyone wants to look for problems.

My next test is to setup 2 recordings starting at the same time and watching LiveTV but using the HD Homerun view, not Mythtv-frontend
