Thanks,  so I got my "homemade" version of v30 built and installed. It 
was initialized to defaults.  I tried setting a unique identifier prior 
to this version, but I must have used a different name than I remembered.

So should the process be that after a install of mythfrontend.apk you 
should first thing change the identifier to the name you used prior? 
Then do you restart the mythfrontend app??


BTW, I wrote down the identifier this time :-)
