[mythtv-users] Capture Card

HDTV antennas at least around here do not need to be large because the
lowest channel is VHF-High so no VHF-Low, which were below the FM band. Get
one of those and put it on your roof. Nobody can stop you if you are in
the US. https://www.fcc.gov/media/over-air-reception-devices-rule

For reference, I had a HAM radio antenna which was a long wire to a tree
and a neighbor complained. I got a letter from the city saying I had 30
days to remove it citing city code for the height of an antenna. I pointed
out that I had a licence and they could not limit my ability to transmit
and at this low frequency I needed a long wire. They never respond to my
letter which ended with something like if I don't hear from you I will
assume the issue is settled. I later phoned and talked to the city official
who sent the letter and he said that if they fought me and lost, it would
throw out their entire city code, not just the part about antennas and they
could not take that risk for my almost invisible antenna.

Good luck.
