I pruned the list of obsolete channels, removed cable channels from the 
antenna list, then ran "mythfilldatabase --remove-new-channels".  I 
think that solved it, the deleted channels stayed deleted.

The reason I started this exercise was the Upcoming Recordings list had 
shows using the Antenna source, but with Cable channels.  Now the list 
looks good, thing are pretty well aligned (so far).  Thanks for the help,
