Peter,

I did a fresh install of Android Studio and opened your project and
built it.  I deployed it to my Shield TV with adb and it worked. Not
surprised that your project worked, just surprised I could so easily get
it compiled and installed on my Shield TV.

Like you say it's in its early stages and missing features.  I find the
Shield version of Mythfrontend to be the best frontend ever with
Mythfrontend on Raspberry Pi 4B being arguably as good.

The leanback interface is not my favorite but I have to use it for
YoutubeTV and Prime Video. I have a Harmony Smart Hub remote connected
to all my TV based devices and I have a Mythfrontend activity with a
separate button for all the key features.  The most important feature is
forward and backward skipping.

Thanks for the hard work! Let me know if you need stuff tested.
