[mythtv-users] Myth and Python 2

Does Myth still require python 2? I'm on gentoo and I only have python 
2.7 available and oursql refuses to install so I have no python bindings 
to look up metadata.

I guess a related question would be, is there another way to look up 
metadata other than python?


Oh, and I'm still on Myth 29, but I didn't see where Myth 30 raised the 
dependencies for python.
