I've noticed that the Mythmote app has disappeared from the Google Play store which is a shame. Currently using AcasaSoft's 'Remote for MythTV' but noticed it's not been updated for a number of years. I've also some re-connectivity issues with that app that mythmote had a 'reconnect' button in the corner to make it easy to trigger re-connections if it lost it for whatever reason. plus it doesn't even do DNS FE names... IP only.

How do you guys control your non-primary FE's on the cheap? for me, they're all rpi3's so have bluetooth and (obviously) IP control of them. The TV's are all IR and while i'm quite happy to use their dedicated remotes, it's hard to justify the cost of a Harmony remote for the times i use the FE's, hence android app usage.
My Harmony Companion remote is maxed out on licenses&key config so cant use that.
