[mythtv-users] Anyone using MythTV with Cox Contour?

Hi. I am currently using MythTV with a Cox (Phoenix) SA 4240HDC receiver.
Now Cox is asking me to upgrade to their Contour boxes for free (right).
I'm wondering if these can be used with MythTV.  Has anyone tried to do it?

Also wondering if there have been any developments in interfacing MythTV
with streaming services like HULU, Pluto TV, etc.  I asked about this some
time ago and the answer seemed to be that you couldn't really do it.  Would
like to cut the cord with Cox (especially if these Contour boxes can't be
used with MythTV) but would need some way to skip commercials on streaming.
