No, but I had the same error when trying to build rpms for Fedora. 
It's from commit 27fec2bab, but that's much later than the last ppa 
build, which was before the FFmpeg refactoring.

I have a successful rpm build on Fedora 27 from a script by Gary 
Buhrmaster which *might* repay study - but I suspect it's probably best 
'not to start from here'...
