Users mythtv and daryl can't remove that file as it's owned by root.

sudo rm /mnt/storage2/mythtv/recordings//.test

to fix the issue.

Thanks Bill, I had to use the "-r" argument, but I'm all god now.
I love Mythtv, and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into developing it and the willingness of this list to assist the Myth community... Ahh, utopia!

I'm kind of concerned that -r (--recursive i believe) was required. That might have been dangerous I hope your recordings and directories are all still there.
