Harmony Hub bluetooth works awesome for me to my RPi3. Set it up as a
"WindowsPC" in Harmony and then you can use normal keyboard bindings for
the controls. I think I might have had to add a handful of new bindings
in MythTV itself but other than that a painless setup. And in operation
the Bluetooth is so much faster & more reliable than IR it's not even a
contest.
