The reason I use the Harmony Smart Hub remote is because I can get it to control all my devices in the family room: Cable, Satellite, Bluray, FireTV, Roki, computer, Mythtv, Kodi. It works on my Ubuntu, and Mac computers, but I have not tested it on Windows, but I use the Logitech Media Center PC to setup the Smart Hub.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll look at the Flirc.
