[mythtv-users] Bind mount to keep mythtv files in one place?

I plan on incorporating a SSD into my combined FE/BE system...

Currently /var is a volume group on my main 3TB spinning hard drive. I want
to move all of /var to the SSD EXCEPT:

/var/lib/pictures
/var/lib/mythvideos
/var/lib/mythmusic

I want those to stay on the spinning media since I don't need the speed of
SSD nor do I have the space...

Since you can only directly mount a volume to a single directory that poses
a problem as I have 3 directories and I don't see any point in creating 3
LVs or partitions to keep them separate.

So my current idea is to:

1. Migrate all the data off the LV except for the 3 directories above to
the SSD (256GB)
2. Mount the root of the media LV to somewhere in /mnt.
3. Bind mount the 3 directories to the correct place in /var/lib

Anyone see other options?
