I think that the SQL queries for looking up data for Previously
Recorded have a "limit" clause.  They will only fetch a certain number
of rows from the table.  My system records a lot of programmes - so it
reaches that limit much earlier than systems that only record one or
two things per day.  The size of my oldrecorded table is currently
62552 rows.
