My penchant for early upgrading had bitten me in a tender place.

I was running mythtv-29.0-9.20180111.77.g771115f47d.fc27.x86_64 on
Fedora 27 without a hitch. I upgraded to Fedora 28, which meant using
mythtv-29.1-15.20180228.8.g925ceea0fb.fc28.x86_64.

And now mythbackend frequently crashes just as it starts recording a
program. Here are typical last lines in the relevant mythbackend log.

2018-05-13 07:59:00.150007 I [15847/15871] Scheduler
scheduler.cpp:2924 (HandleRecordingStatusChange) - Tuning recording:

scheduler.cpp:735 (UpdateRecStatus) - Updating status for "FOX News

2018-05-13 07:59:01.110740 E [15847/16589] ProcessRequest
programinfo.cpp:2608 (GetPlaybackURL) -
ProgramInfo(7261_20180513125900.ts): GetPlaybackURL:
'7261_20180513125900.ts' should be local, but it can not be found.
2018-05-13 07:59:01.115068 E [15847/16589] ProcessRequest
programinfo.cpp:2608 (GetPlaybackURL) -
ProgramInfo(7261_20180513125900.ts): GetPlaybackURL:
'7261_20180513125900.ts' should be local, but it can not be found.

Has anyone else had this problem? What are the first steps for
troubleshooting? It DOES record OK sometimes, so it doesn't seem to
be a tuner issue.
