Hi Donald,

I moving this to the mythtv-users list, since others may benefit from this
discussion.

If you have noting in your /opt folder, that indicates that some previous
step encountered an error.  If you are not seeing an obvious error, please
post the commands you issued and the result of those commands, and I will
try to spot the problem.
