Yeah. I already thought of that. It is known.

It displays the contents of that URL. Additionally, even a basic test
such as:

$ ping -n -c 1 proxy
PING server.example.com (10.75.22.247) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 10.75.22.247: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.320 ms

--- server.example.com ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 1 received, 0% packet loss, time 0ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.320/0.320/0.320/0.000 ms
$ ping6 -n -c 1 proxy
PING proxy(fd31:aeb1:48df::2) 56 data bytes
64 bytes from fd31:aeb1:48df::2: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.369 ms

--- proxy ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 1 received, 0% packet loss, time 0ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.369/0.369/0.369/0.000 ms

proves that out.

I suspect this has something to do with QT's less-than-stellar support
of proxies, sadly.

Cheers,
b.
