Acknowledging the point raised by many that the MediaTek SoC on Sony 
Android TVs is poor but noting that Kodi runs fine ...

I wanted to try the alpha of Mythtv for android on an Android 7 - Sony 
XD85TV.

However when I attempted to sideload the apk from a USB stick the 
installer rejected it as being incompatible with the platform.

Anybody know how to get round this?
