[mythtv-users] FE instability - time to start fresh on new install?

Two thoughts: Your problems sound like they might be a hardware issue. You need to see if you can 
find anything before committing to an upgrade on a board you might need to replace soon - been 
there, done that.

Secondly, what's wrong with just turning it off every night? A boot-up these days doesn't take long, 
even if you don't go down the systemd route.
