Likely requires an IR blaster of one form or another,
but I do not see any obvious lirc remote configurations
explicitly for that box.  You might have to try a IR receiver
to learn the codes for LIRC, which can be (at the best
of times) frustrating.  Or maybe there are other boxes
that use the same IR codes (I presume Telus uses a
common remote across multiple STB designs).

If there are no telus optik users here that respond,
you might try asking on the digitalhome.ca telus
forums about lirc configurations.  I believe the site
has a dedicated telus optik area, and likely someone
knows if there is a useful config file out there.
