Hi,
Thought I'd ask here, if anybody has experience in Linux with this, I'd think it would be here.
I added a 2nd ATI HDWonder Value Card (Card Type 34). I have this in a modprobe config file.
options cx88xx card=34
This allows the 1st card to be configured as the ATI HD Wonder type by the cx88 module. However upon adding the 2nd identical card, the logs are stating I need to specify the card type. I would think should be using the same module and just work, but cx88[0] loads and works, cx88[1] isn't working.
[ 4.725827] cx88[0]/0: registered device video0 [v4l2][ 4.725892] cx88[0]/0: registered device vbi0[ 4.726090] cx88[1]: Your board isn't known (yet) to the driver. You cancx88[1]: try to pick one of the existing card configs viacx88[1]: card=<n> insmod option. Updating to the latestcx88[1]: version might help as well.[ 4.726332] cx88[1]: Here is a list of valid choices for the card=<n> insmod option:[ 4.726464] cx88[1]: card=0 -> UNKNOWN/GENERIC[ 4.726546] cx88[1]: card=1 -> Hauppauge WinTV 34xxx models...
Is there some way in modprobe to specify options for this scenario? Any ideas here?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.
