I ran the above mentioned wget command and after that I do not get a 
signing error. Either they have fixed the problem or the wget fixed it.

As long as you use Advanced(HW) deinterlace you should be fine with SD 
and HD. The Line Double(HW) deinterlace does not work well with SD.
