[mythtv-users] Brand new install - Mythbackend doesn't start

Brand new installation.

   - CentOS 7
   - Installation using - yum install mythtv mythweb mythnetvision

mythbackend started initially. but restarting killed it. Reboot made it
start again, restarting killed it again.

I should add that I am NOT doing any recording, so I do not have any tv
capture cards. No dvb as well. I only use this for videos/pics/music

I noticed that there was no /etc/mythtv/config.xml at one point - so I
copied from /root/.mythtv/config.xml to the /etc/...

Somehow i feel it may be the file permission issue - i run as root and all
instructions may be defaulted to "mythtv" as a user.

I understand it's not the "right" way - but for now would prefer using this
a root.

Thank you guys for the help. I have been looking at this all day but
nothing seems to come up.
