[mythtv-users] Frontend Raspberry Pi setup issues

Yes, that was it, I discovered.  So that's fixed.  But I still have the problem that when I start the remote frontend, it goes to the database config setup screen, and when I hit finish it exits (and turns off the screen).  When I turn the screen back on I have the Raspian desktop.  I've gone through the procedures for configuring the backend for remote access found here http://gedakc.users.sourceforge.net/display-doc.php?name=pvr-config-be-for-remote-fe  The tests at the end work on the backend machine, and the second test works from another machine on the same network, so I guess the selinux theory is disproven.  What to do now?

And @Curtis yes the frontend is working on a different machine.

Most likely the black screen is caused by the CEC code in MythTV which
powers off your TV set when you exit MythTV. Try the TV power button.
