Hi:
Do any of you have IR hardware that you’d be willing to test with a Mac?
I’ve done a little work with the maintainer of Lirc recently and we now have quite a few Lirc plugins that compile successfullly on Mac OS X 10.9 and higher. I don’t have the hardware to actually test functionality. If you have the hardware, maybe you could install Lirc on your Mac and see what happens!
The following are all USB-based IR receivers or transceivers that should be tested:
PCIR (intolect.com) or other Irman-compatible receiver
ATI Remote Wonder II
ATI/NVidia/X10 RF Remote
Medion X10 devices
NVidia X10 RF Remote
X10 MP3 Anywhere USB RF Receiver
X10 RF Remote
Aureal ATWF at 83-W001 ESKY.CC remote
Awox RF/IR Remote
CommandIR Multi-IR Transceiver
DFC USB InfraRed Remote Control
FTDI FT232-based IR Receiver
IRLink VS USB IR Receiver.
Dangerous Prototypes IRtoydevice
PCMAK USB receiver
Sony PCVA-IR5U IR Receiver
Philips 7500 RF remote
Home Electronics Tira USBdevice
USB-UIRT
ADSTech USBX-707 USB IR Blaster
In addition, the following list are all serial interface devices that _might_ work with a serial-to-USB converter:
Kanam Accent
Creative Infra Receiver/CIMR100
Girs driver for Arduino devices
Logitech/AST
X10 MouseRemote RF Receiver (Serial)
X10 MP3 Anywhere Serial RF Receiver
PCMAK serial receiver
Miro PCTV serial receiver
Pinnacle Systems TV-card receiver
PixelView RemoteMaster RC2000/RC3000
REALmagic (bundled with Hollywood Plus DVD card)
Silitek SM-1000
UIRT2
Please contact me (off list if you like) if you’d like to help test any of this hardware.
Craig
