Was it only a mythtv upgrade? Some kernel modules with several of the
tv card modules among them need to be unloaded and thus released by
mythtv. Possibly a failure on that count can result in a failure to go
to sleep. So check if it is a failure on the slave side or a failure
to send the command on the master side.
