[mythtv-users] Debugging IPTV / HLS streaming of NZ Channels

I've added some detailed notes to the MythTV Trac

I produced some additional debug output of mythtv-backend by modifying
/etc/mythtv/additional.args

ADDITIONAL_ARGS="-v playback,record"


Based on that I'm still not sure at what point we should change the
requesting URL from the base playlist file to the final re-directed
location of the m3u8. I'd love some input
