[mythtv-users] Android TV boxes

MythTV Player runs on Android TV. So does VLC. It supports mpeg2 playback
and MythTV Player will offload playback to VLC if it's in a format it can't
play natively. I am looking to move playback to an embedded ExoPlayer,
which should provide more playback options. If the video/recording is
already in a format a Chromecast can play, MythTV Player will play it.
Handbrake now has a setting for transcoding to a Chromecast compatible
format. My Nexus Player doesn't support mpeg2 natively, so I can't test
that myself.

If you want delete functionality, out a request on the GitHub page.
