[mythtv-users] FCC's . . . Proposal: Make Cable Available as an App - MythTV ramifications?

This does not seem to be a very recent news item. But it's something I happened 
to run across in the news today--specifically in regards to an apparent delay 
in voting on this measure. If such an app were to become available, I'd know 
what to do about that with reference to the Android MSB (media streaming box) 
with which I'm experimenting.

But what about implications for MythTV? Could the functionality of such an app 
be somehow integrated into MythTV? I hope I did not miss a previous 
discussion(s) on this topic here--if so, my apologies for rehashing the topic.
