Please don't top-post!

Then you do not use the right QAM and or frequency. Every else is
handled by MythTV. Check what settings you need to tune your TV. The
QAM for the identity frequency can be different from all the others.
Like here. It is all 'a8qam256-6900' ( as the homerun calls it) but
for tunning I need 'a8qam64-6875' with a frequency of 474000000 Hz.
In the homerun configuration itself you can set which
modulation/symbolrate combinations it should look. Maybe setting those
might help.
