Sorry - I have not been looking at the IRC.

I see your movie - there are some white flashes next to the OSD - so it
looks OSD related. Are you using vdpau? Is it also a 720p recording?

I am unable to see this problem with a 720p recording or any recording
on my system using vdpau.
