[mythtv-users] Live TV channel selected via guide results in "schedule order" being used for tuner priority

Hi folks,

I had mentioned this at the tail end of a prior thread, but figured it
should have its own thread/subject.

As was mentioned recently, I've just set up my input connection order
numbers to prevent a scheduled recording from preempting a live TV
session, as outlined here:
<https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Setup_Input_Connections>. In particular,
the tuner that is used first for scheduled recordings is used last for
Live TV.

The problem is that while in a Live TV session, if I ever use the guide
to choose the channel to switch to, MythTV selects the tuner that comes
first in the "Schedule Order" list, rather than the "Live TV Order"
list. If I type in the channel number directly or if I use the up or
down arrows to skim through the channels via the OSD, then MythTV uses
the "Live TV Order" as expected.

In my case, it's easy to see when MythTV gets it wrong, as my #1
Schedule Order tuner is my HD-PVR, which has a light on the front that
turns on when it's activated. Any time I use the guide to change
channels, I see the HD-PVR kick on. But it should be using my HDHR
instead, as all 3 of the HDHR inputs have a lower Live TV Order number
than my HD-PVR's Live TV Order number.

I'm on 0.27-fixes via Mythbuntu. Can anybody else confirm this
behavior? If it's fixed in 0.28, then I suppose upgrading should be on
my priority list. Otherwise, perhaps this warrants a new ticket to be
filed?

Thanks
-WD
