That's good.. I guess you were talking about the XMLTV README then.    
When your run Makefile.PL and specify the programs/tools you want to 
run, it should tell you what modules you need.  I think the README just 
tells you the required packages to run Makefile.PL. I know the module 
list isn't maintained in the README.

On Linux, if you have access to a packaged XMLTV that should handle most 
of the prerequisites.
