Also, I cannot sudo with the user which automatically logs in; it keeps telling me the password is incorrect (but I know it is correct; also updated sudoers to not even prompt for a password, but it still does). Is there anyone out there that has an LTSP server and have this issue or know of a way around it?

I run an LTSP setup but my mythtv hosts are all on separate non-LTSP machines.

If you have an LTSP setup then the communication is likely over SSH. In this case the 'password'
asked for might be the SSH passphrase rather than the password associated with the userid.
