Okay, I commented out the line for the license, rebooted, and then 
created another profile for use with XCB. I selected 4 CPUs and changed 
the video decoder to ffmpeg (a suggestion I saw in an earlier email). It 
worked, but had more pronounced video judder during panning shots.

I'll try it again, but with OpenMAX instead of ffmpeg as the video 
decoder, and see if the judder is reduced.

Also, I'm actually getting surprisingly good results with OSD Fade 
turned on.
