thanx, just got it installed, rebooting now with overscan settings necessary for 
desktop to fit onscreen...right now my vizio is undectected/unknown, even tho
	mate at rpi-mythtv:~$ /opt/vc/bin/tvservice -s
shows correctly
	state 0x12000a [HDMI CEA (16) RGB lim 16:9], 1920x1080 @ 60.00Hz, progressive

i'll play w/ eid files...unfortunately:
	mate at rpi-mythtv:/boot$ /opt/vc/bin/tvservice -d edid.dat
returns
	Nothing written!

btw:
	mate at rpi-mythtv:~$ mythfrontend
	mythfrontend: error while loading shared libraries: libfftw3.so.3: 	cannot open 
shared object file: No such file or directory

even tho it's there:
	lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Dec  2  2014 
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libfftw3f.so.3 -> libfftw3f.so.3.4.4

so i stuck a symlink in /usr/lib/mythtv, but that didn't work:-\
