So after a few weeks, the situation reared its ugly head again.
Station engineer sent the network engineer and myself a screengrab from a
StreamScope MPEG Analyzer that shows the signal at his end is 4:3.
TSReader direct from the HDHomerun shows a 16:9 aspect flag.
Wget'ing the stream from the HDHomerun shows a PAR and DAR of 16:9. TV is
set to Just Scan. Other 4L3 channels in area show as 4:3.
Now the last time he sent out a StreamScope MPEG Analyzer shot, the channel
had gone back to 4:3. But this time, I'm still seeing 16:9 and luckily for
me, so are a few other people on an OTA forum in the area without me even
asking. So, since the TV is passthough and the tuner is passthrough and
Myth's aspect features are off (and anyway I see it with the Homerum w/o
Myth involved) is it safe to say this is just another example of them
circling the wagons and denying the issue until they get to the bottom of
it?
